Ash graduated with an honour’s degree in Economics (ranked first) from the University of Lucknow, India. He also holds an MBA (distinction) and LL.M (distinction) from University of Cumbria, UK. With a career spanning 36 years in India, West Africa and South Africa, he brings a wealth of international and local experience in agro processing, consumer products marketing and business development. He is focused on unlocking the human potential by empowering and upskilling team members. He believes in setting new quality standards, providing competitive service, and building strong relationships with stakeholders based on ‘transparency’, ‘fairness’ and ‘honesty’. “The aim remains offering not satisfaction but delight to the consumers of Food Specialities”, he says.

Colin Cameron
CFO
Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and holds an MBA from the University of Cumbria (UK). Colin brings with him over three decades of varied experience in manufacturing, shipping, international trade and agri processing in Europe, Southern Africa and Asia. With a strong operations and project background, he focuses on financial soundness and fiscal discipline. His passion remains providing better service to all stakeholders through optimal use of technology, manpower training and maintaining a customer centric orientation throughout the organization. A prudent management of all resources; people, technology, processes and assets are required to build a “superior culture and a bold vision”, he says.

Our Bottling Plant
The state-of-the-art bottling plant includes stainless steel storage tanks, blow moulding machines, filling, and packaging sections. This allows us to produce our unique bottles in sizes ranging from 750ml to 5 litres for retail. We also produce larger sizes such as 20 litres for our hospitality sector supplies.

Super Oil Mills was founded in 2019 in the heart of the agricultural town of Marble Hall, Limpopo, South Africa. At present, Super Oil Mills is one of the most reputable suppliers of edible oils in the region, employing over 120 local, skilled workers. Super Oil Mills is the only mill in the country that produces refined cottonseed oil, and our products boast the Proudly South African seal of recognition.
Super Oil Mills has established a best in class, high quality, innovative multi-seed extraction plant and infrastructure. This supports premium multi-seed processing of oilseeds into refined vegetable oil, protein cakes and hulls. Super Oil Mills focuses on sourcing quality seeds from local farmers and processing these to the highest international standards. The dedicated team engages in these processes with heart and soul and adheres to stringent quality control measures.

As such, Food Specialities’ products proudly adorn the Cotton Mark of Cotton SA, South Africa’s leading strategic trailblazer that strives to improve the cotton industry in the rural agricultural communities.


Cotton South Africa contributes to creating a sustainable environment for economic growth, job creation and development and is responsible for stimulating and supporting the production of cotton, by enhancing the marketability of cotton through research and training. Super Oil Mills prides itself on its ability to turn quality raw cotton materials into premium quality, stable and healthy edible oil choices that not only enhances the appetising flavours of your food but keeps it fresher for longer. Food Specialities, packages and ensure that South African consumers get to enjoy these premium locally produced cotton products.
Cotton SA and the Department of Trade and Industry Cotton production in South Africa were instrumental in establishing the Sustainable Cotton Cluster to revive the local cotton industry and support new cotton farmers. In the five years from 2014 since the establishment of the Sustainable Cotton Cluster, there was a 500% increase in cotton planted – up from nearly 6 900 to 43 000 hectares – and an 800% increase in cotton lint production in South Africa – up from 5305 to 49 000 tons.
